Three areas of specialist expertise. One shared ambition.
Support Never Stops brings together people who understand harm reduction in practice, people who have spent decades building systems specifically for harm-reduction services, and specialists who know how to turn that knowledge into a safe, useful and scalable AI platform.
Support Never Stops
A company in its own right
A distinct organisation, built on exceptional sector experience.
Support Never Stops has its own identity, purpose, product and responsibilities. The collaboration does not dilute that independence; it gives the company direct access to deep harm-reduction knowledge, proven service technology experience and specialist AI capability from the people building and governing the platform.

Harm-reduction leadership
John Campbell
Glasgow · Harm reduction & public health
John is a highly experienced harm-reduction and public-health specialist from Glasgow, with more than 20 years of frontline, operational and strategic experience in drug services.
His work has included injecting-equipment provision, overdose prevention, wound care, blood-borne virus testing, naloxone, drug-trend response and the development of practical interventions designed around the realities of people’s lives.
Within Support Never Stops, John brings the specialist harm-reduction knowledge that shapes the platform’s content, tone, risk recognition, boundaries and service pathways.
Neo360 has more than 20 years of experience providing specialist monitoring, reporting and operational software exclusively for harm-reduction services and the commissioners responsible for them.
Its systems support areas including needle and syringe provision, naloxone, blood-borne virus monitoring, injecting-risk assessment, referrals, stock control, supervised consumption and public-health reporting.
Nic Hannam and Ste Parkinson bring that long-term understanding of service workflows, anonymous monitoring, commissioning requirements, information governance and what it takes to deploy technology successfully across real harm-reduction systems.
Ortom is a specialist UK artificial-intelligence and data-science consultancy, led by Tom Liptrot, with experience designing and building bespoke AI and machine-learning systems across healthcare and other sectors.
For Support Never Stops, Ortom has worked alongside the team to build the conversational AI platform around controlled information sources, region-specific responses and the safeguards needed for a sensitive health and harm-reduction setting.
The relationship is deliberately collaborative: domain experts define what good and safe looks like, while Ortom translates those requirements into robust AI architecture, product behaviour and continuous technical improvement.

The technology starts with harm reduction—not with AI.
The strongest part of the partnership is the order in which the platform is built. Harm-reduction need, service reality and safety requirements come first. Technology is then used to deliver those requirements consistently and at scale.
01
Grounded in practice
Real harm-reduction experience defines the questions, language, advice and safety boundaries.
02
Designed for services
Decades of sector software experience keeps workflows, referrals, reporting and implementation practical.
03
Engineered responsibly
Specialist AI expertise turns governed requirements into a responsive, controlled conversational experience.
04
Improved together
Testing, user feedback, service learning and technical monitoring feed a controlled cycle of improvement.
How expertise combines
Clear roles. Shared accountability.
Each partner brings a different specialist lens, but important product decisions are made collaboratively so that service practicality, governance and technical feasibility remain aligned.
Define the need
Harm-reduction challenges, user needs, local pathways and commissioner requirements are identified first.
Set safe boundaries
Content, escalation, safeguarding, governance and acceptable AI behaviour are specified and reviewed.
Build and test
Ortom engineers the platform while the wider team tests behaviour against real-world scenarios and requirements.
Learn and improve
Feedback, service experience, emerging drug trends and technical monitoring inform controlled updates.
Collective experience
Built by people who already understand the environment.
Commissioners and services should not have to teach a technology supplier the fundamentals of harm reduction before meaningful work can begin.
