AccountableGoverned by people

Support should be available when someone is ready to ask.

Questions about drugs, risk or a loved one do not arrive neatly within office hours. Support Never Stops was created to provide an immediate, approachable first point of contact while strengthening—not replacing—the expertise, relationships and care provided by local services.

Why we started

Closing the gap between concern and human support

Too often, a person has a question at the moment a service is closed, feels unsure whether their concern is serious enough, or does not know where to begin. Families and friends can face the same uncertainty.

We saw an opportunity to use carefully governed AI as a bridge: offering immediate harm-reduction information, recognising urgent risk, explaining options and helping people take the next appropriate step.

The platform is designed to complement local provision and make established services easier to understand and reach.

The moment

A question or concern arises

At night, at home, after an incident or before someone feels ready to contact a service.

The bridge

Immediate, guided support

Clear information, proportionate questions, safety prompts and locally relevant choices.

The next step

A route towards the right help

Emergency action, practical self-care, family guidance or connection with a local service.

Created for the whole support system

People who use drugs

Respectful, practical information that supports safer choices, recognises risk and helps people find appropriate services without judgement.

Families and concerned others

Clear explanations, realistic harm-reduction advice and guidance on responding to risk while also looking after their own wellbeing.

Professionals and services

A consistent digital front door that can extend reach, reinforce approved messaging and help people arrive better informed and prepared.

The experience behind the platform

Harm-reduction systems

Longstanding experience of developing digital tools for drug services, public-health programmes, needle and syringe provision, naloxone and related interventions.

Clinical and safeguarding leadership

Clinical reasoning, harm-reduction practice, safeguarding and urgent-risk considerations shape the content, boundaries and escalation logic.

Public-health and service insight

Experience working with commissioners and local providers helps ensure the platform supports real pathways, useful reporting and practical implementation.

Responsible digital development

Specialist product and AI engineering turns governed requirements into an accessible, resilient and continuously tested user experience.
